You are invited to the Region Two/Florida, Georgia and South Carolina Districts Meeting
February 10 12, 2012 at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation in Amelia Island, Florida (close to Fernandina and Jacksonville in northeast Florida). This meeting will be a great way to get the latest update on whats going on at Civitan and the Civitan International Research Center, see some Civitan friends that you dont get a chance to see often
and join in the fun and fellowship of Civitan.

Please note the reservations for the hotel must be made no later than January 10, 2012 to get this rate. You also have the option of coming before and staying after. The same rate will apply three days before The Meeting and three days after. Civitan registration is requested by January 24, 2012
but, of course, we would like to have them before then.
This is a two for one meeting
a District meeting for three Districts as well as a meeting for all Region Two Civitans.
I am most appreciative of the opportunity to work closely with the Governors of all three districts
Lana from Florida, Louise from Georgia, and Lura from South Carolina. Together we will make this an outstanding, fun event! You will be a big part of that too.
Dr. Susan Campbell, Assistant Director for Research, Outreach and Development for the Civitan International Research Center, will be our keynote speaker for our banquet Saturday night. Louis Stephens, Vice President Membership-Leadership, will be assisted by Joe Parker, Civitan International President-Elect (and builder of at least 12 Civitan clubs) will be conducting a Club in a Box Seminar to help your Districts grow. Joe will also bring an update on Civitan International activities.
And we are working on some fun activities for you too! There is an indoor lap pool, or you may wish to just walk (or run) along the beach. I have asked for warmer weather than usual and no rain for the weekend in Amelia Island!!
