District Club Officer Training

IMPORTANT REMINDER for CLUB OFFICERS

Because of COVID-19, Civitan International recognizes the election of 2020-21 club officers will be impacted.  In response, club officer certification training will be delayed.  Training opportunities will be available starting in August, to ensure all club officers may be certified for the 2020-2021 Civitan year.

District Honor Key Policy Change

​District Honor Key is the highest individual award given at the GA District Civitan level.  The district will now present 3 Honor Key awards annually.  Ref sect 412.

2019 Claxton Fruitcake Sales

A total of 12 Georgia District clubs participated in the 2019 Fruitcake fund raiser.  The GA district is credited with distribution of 45,644 lbs of fruitcake.  This is approximately 85.5% of last year’s sales.

The Winterville Club had the largest total credited sales at 15,212 pounds ( 7.5% increase over last year), Inter City Club second at 6,976 pounds and Dublin Club third at 6,240 lbs.
